Mediterranean Navigation Day 1

Day 01 - Sunday, March 2, 2025 – Depart Denver, Colorado; Fly to Frankfurt, Germany – Connect to Valletta, Malta

The world is calling us to travel again. Overseas Adventure Travel offered a new small ship journey navigating the Mediterranean and North Africa. We are excited to explore two new countries, Malta and Algeria and then revisit Sicily, Tunisia, Morocco, Gibraltar and Spain.

It has been almost two years since we have taken an international trip and we are looking forward to new sights, sounds, and tastes. Our friend, Tim will be staying with our home and with our kitten, Azore.

Instead of driving to Denver and parking our vehicle at the Pikes Peak parking area, we have hired a shuttle service to pick us up at our home and take us to DIA. The driver will also pick us up at the end of our adventure and bring us home. With the expenses of gas and parking, the service is only about $40 more than driving ourselves.

We are flying from Denver to Frankfurt, Germany on Lufthansa Airlines. After a brief layover we connect with our final leg to Valletta, Malta.

So nice to follow along on your travels! I’m in California and just watched two of my granddaughter’s soccer games and a play where my grandson was on stage crew. Enjoy your trip!

Your trip sounds wonderful! I hope you have a wonderful time. Dennis & I are headed that way in October. The last several trips, we also have had a driver pick us up at home and take us to DIA and then pick us up at the end of our trip. So much easier and not much more expensive!!
