Day 12 - Thursday, March 13, 2025 – A Day of Leisure; Malaga, Spain
We had a relaxing day aboard the Clio. We had breakfast and then explored the ship and talked to our crew members. The whole staff of 58 is exceptionally friendly. By the second day of our trip, they knew all of our names.
The restaurant team remembers our preferences for beverages and meals. Our cabin steward knows that we go to breakfast early and by the time we return, he has tidied our room and left us clean towels. We are relatively neat, but Hanafi keeps our room spotless.
Today many people are going shopping in Malaga but because we aren’t shoppers, we are enjoying the calm of the ship. We sat outside on the veranda until it began to rain. We are still under the threat of this Mediterranean storm. One minute it is pouring and the next minute the sun comes out to remind us how lucky we are to be well and able to enjoy traveling.
Thank you again for following us on this adventure. We look forward to your comments on the journal and your personal notes about home and the weather in Colorado.
Accommodations: M/V Clio
I haven't been on the Clio, but the staff on OAT ships are always extremely friendly and efficient. I don't know how they can learn so many names so quickly, but they do! We are having roller coaster weather in MN. A week ago, a foot of snow, then temps into the 60s for several days. Friday will bring rain and snow storms into Saturday, and Sunday's high will be 39!
Post a Comment!Am enjoying the journals much and the photos too, surely wish I was traveling with you. I remember that region from our trips. What a joy for you to be enjoying it all, thanks for sharing.
