We got to sleep in until 7:30 this morning - after having breakfast at the hotel; we returned to the room to catch up on LP mail and for Gen to do her UOP classes, a working vacation!
We set off to explore the city and get gas and air in the tires of the car. We visited a few shopping centers, marveled at the liquor prices that are so high here, and bought a few things for Eduardo.
We found our way to Quantum Digital, Eduardo's company at 1:00 and met several of his co-workers at his office and saw his new PHP unit. He took us to Pho Van one of his favorite restaurants for Vietnamese food. We had a super lunch and then drove back to the office so he could work the rest of the afternoon and we did a little more shopping and then came back to the hotel.
Ted picked us up at 5:30 so we could go back to his apartment to wash clothes and watch his latest film, AEON. Wow! What an unbelievably well done movie!
Sonia joined us and then at 7:30 we met Eduardo's friend Derek and Jen at El Azteca, and had an incredible authentic Mexican meal. When the managers turned off the lights and started stacking the chairs around us, we got the hint and started back to the hotel at 10:15.
After organizing a few photos and writing the journal, it was time to call it a day!
