DAY 2 - November 28, 2003 - Narita, Japan to Bangkok, Thailand
We arrived at Narita Airport just outside of Tokyo and after landing, had the longest taxi to the terminal we have ever had and then parked on the tarmac.
The shuttle bus took us back into the terminal where we had to go through security once again. It is here that I am working on the Journal - 1:33 in the morning - Colorado time.
From Narita we flew a 747 - the worst aircraft for long flights. Fortunately, Gennie and I were so tired that we slept for most of the six hours. Again, the passengers were very considerate of others.
We slept through the meals and beverages, but that was OK - we had had enough during the previous flight. We left on time and arrived 25 minutes early (11:05 PM).
We went through immigration without any difficulties and we then were waved through customs. We were met by our OAT representative Anya.
She promptly took us to the Hotel Rama Gardens shuttle van and we were off. The hotel is close to the airport as we have to fly again tomorrow on our way to Angkor Watt in Cambodia. This will be a three day pre-trip.
Our luggage was brought to our room, we took a great shower and as I finished this Journal, Gennie was filling out the emergency information
forms for OAT. We were in bed by 1 AM on Saturday morning (1 PM EST Friday in NY). Bangkok is 14 hours ahead of Mountain Time.

Day 13 - Saturday, April 22, 2022 - Depart for U.S.
The hotel prepared a box breakfast for us as we had to be in the lobby way before the breakfast room was open.
Last night we found out that our departure flight back to...
