North to San Angelo

US 87 to Lubbock and the Amarillo

Well maintained and little traffic

Over 100 deer killed along the roadway

Cotton fields, cactus, pecan trees

Semi-Arid flat lands

Oil wells, windmills, and microwave towers

Wind turbines south of Big Springs

Subway Sandwich at Plainview

Left Texas at 3:45 MST

Very windy in New Mexico

Road construction whole way

Back in Colorado 5:25PM

Long drive there-826 miles to Austin

Another long drive-924 miles-Austin to Monument.

Austin area is by far the most beautiful in Texas

Texas people were friendly and helpful.
